Tis the season for dry skin

Although many people consider dry skin unavoidable during the winter season, there are several easy ways and to protect your skin, prevent it from becoming itchy and ashy, and keep it moisturized.

Step 1: cleanse the skin with lukewarm water and mild face wash to remove all the excess sebum twice daily.

Step 2: apply a heavy moisturizer with SPF protection during the day. Although the summer season is over, the UV rays are still present and can affect the skin. Then apply a heavy moisturizer with no SPF in the evening. The moisturizer cream will prevent the skin from drying out due to cold temperatures and winds

Step 3: drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. This way your skin will maintain it's hydration and elasticity

Step 4: exfoliate the skin twice per week to remove all the dead skin cells. Dead skin cells can be trapped inside the pores and cause pimples.

Step 5: protect your lips with chapstick or lip balm. The wind and cold temperatures can cause the lips to flake due to dehydration. Lip balm can help moisturize and protect the lips to maintain them in perfect condition

Step6: eat healthy foods, the nutrients received from different foods will prepare and protect your skin against external damaging factors.
